This Tuesday Night we’re at Riverveiw Track. (off of Proctor Road).

Warm up 5:30 ish, and we’ve been starting a bit before 6pm. 

The workout is a little bit of VO2 max and a little bit of Threshold run:


3 x 1000m @ Threshold pace (your 10k pace); 45 sec. RECOVERY

3 x 800m @ 5k pace (or a few seconds faster); 2:30-3 min. recovery.

Dessert:  1000m @ threshold pace. 

This is a longer workout.

The following week we’ll do shorter intervals.

NOTE:  MTC is not paying for the use of the track at this time. This may change in the future.  In the meantime it is on us. Any little bit will help. 

We pay $30 each time we run on the track. 

Also, make sure you are MTC Members b/c if they pay for the track we all should be MTC members.  🙂
