Workout:

We’ve done this before, it’s an advanced wo. I can modify it for newer or less mileage runners:

800m @ 5k pace
400m recovery
300m @ (supposed to be mile pace, but make it hard effort pace if don’t know your mile pace)
200m Steady State run (almost like threshold pace / 10k pace)
Go right back to the Start with the 800m……  2-4 x

Your only recovery in this workout is the 400m,

Modified:

800m @ 5k pace (or huffing and puffing effort)
400m recovery
300m @ 5k pace (or huffing and puffing effort)
200m recovery
