Hello, Club Members! As we move forward with our 2020 Vision, we wanted to announce the decision by the Board of Directors to adopt this piece of highway. Board Member, Rob Loeffler, (as seen in the photo) poses at the newly Adopted Highway site. The stretch of road is located between St. Armands Circle, goes over the New Pass Bridge and ends just before the Chart House Restaurant.
Ken Thompson Park offers plenty of parking and a great place to go on a run. Imagine the exposure and the community appreciation we would get from the Longboat and St. Armands communities – MTC would be out for a run in bright logo shirts picking up refuse along a busy patch of road, then socializing at one of the many local hangouts located close by. It’s a great opportunity and one that we hope you’ll enjoy when we kick it off in the upcoming months.
